These popular intermediaries to online payments are very well known and trusted as secure online payment gateways, and are preferred by a large proportion of the population in the UK, where many customers store funds specifically for making payment in online shops. This method removes the need for you to ever see or handle details relating to your customers' bank, credit, or debit accounts.

PayPal Online Payments

PayPal is a fast and secure way for retail customers to make payments online. Their financial details are never shared. Although PayPal is closely synonymous with owners, eBay, PayPal is also used online by many thousands of retailers as an ideal solution for online payments. Your customers do NOT have to hold a PayPal account themselves in order to make payments online using the service, which will function on your website in the same way as any standard payments system would online.

Sagepay allows you to process payments online, over the phone or via mail order, with the Sage Pay Go secure payment gateway. Sage Pay accepts payments online by all major credit & debit cards and easily reconciles your payments to your books. There is a virtual terminal rental payment to your card clearing company (streamline etc). This amount can vary but is approximately £24.00.
